'Harry Potter' attraction brings Forbidden Forest to life

Writer: Wang Haolan  |  Editor: Lin Qiuying  |  From: Original  |  Updated: 2025-10-13

“HARRY Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience” is an immersive walk inspired by J.K. Rowling’s stories. Running through next March, the attraction transforms the Niuhu Waterfront Greenway (牛湖水碧道) in Longhua District into an illuminated forest trail, featuring installations of magical creatures and wizarding wonders from the “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” films.

Visitors can get up close to the magic — encountering enchanted objects and creatures such as flying broomsticks, tree spirits and mischievous nifflers — or try casting spells with an interactive wand. At the trail’s end, a themed village offers dining and souvenir shopping for a memorable night out.
