The 14th Shenzhen International Pet Fair officially kicked off at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District Friday, transforming the exhibition halls into a bustling hub for pet lovers and their furry companions.

The event has drawn over 400 exhibitors and features more than 4,000 well-known brands. The fair offers a comprehensive look at modern pet care, with exhibits spanning pet nutrition, health care, fashion, and a growing array of smart gadgets.

Products like smart feeders that dispense meals on a schedule and automatic pet washing machines that offer a hassle-free bath were among the many innovations attracting attention.

Beyond the latest products, the fair also offers unique experiences, including a dedicated sports meet for dogs, providing entertainment and exercise for canine attendees.

The opening day was filled with palpable energy, drawing big crowds including international visitors. Chris Robb, an American livestreamer who moved to Shenzhen two months ago, broadcast his experience live while strolling through the halls. “The fair is nice. I got to see many different dog breeds,” Robb remarked.
