DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Airport honored as 'Quality Healthy Hotel' in GBA

On Oct. 22, the China Green Food Association (Greater Bay Area) Functional Agriculture and Food Committee awarded DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Airport the title “Quality Healthy Hotel in the Greater Bay Area.” The parties will cooperate to integrate the “functional healthy dining” concept into hotel services, enhancing guests’ stays.

Liu Zhicheng, general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Airport said in his remarks, “This certification strongly endorses our upgraded healthy-dining concept. Under the Association’s guidance, we will systematically introduce functional foods into our dining venues — for example, selenium‑rich agricultural products, low-glycemic ingredients, whole grains as staples, and food‑as‑medicine ingredients — to offer guests more targeted, health-promoting dishes. Our aim is to move from ‘eating safely’ to ‘eating beneficially.’”
Tang Guolin, chairman of the Functional Agriculture and Food Committee, emphasized, “Our shared goal is to promote healthy dining and quality products. This honor marks a new beginning. Going forward, the Committee will connect hotels with more high-quality suppliers to implement the healthy‑dining concept and let guests directly experience our brand’s value.”
The China Green Food Association (Greater Bay Area) Functional Agriculture and Food Committee advances the functional agriculture and food industry. Its mission is to identify and promote GBA foods that are rich in specific nutrients and have proven health benefits, drive dietary improvements through technological innovation, and support the development of a ‘Healthy Greater Bay Area.’
