Now in its 10th edition, the event brings together more than 40 local and international brands for three days of activities. Local talent takes center stage as award‑winning baristas returning from overseas team up with rising “Gen C” stars and independent labels to drive Hong Kong’s coffee movement. Tasting and sharing sessions, hands‑on workshops and the 2025 Hong Kong Barista Championship promise memorable coffee moments.

Scenes from previous events.

This year’s lineup is especially strong and includes four world champions. Mikael Jasin (2024 World Barista Championship 1st) will introduce the “Omakafé” concept, blending the Japanese omakase philosophy with coffee creation; Georgius Audrey Teja (2025 World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship 1st) will demonstrate the art of fusing coffee with spirits; and the duo of Matt Winton (2021 World Brewers Cup 1st) and Sierra Yeo (2022 UK Brewers Cup Champion 1st) will present advanced coffee-extraction techniques.

Three Hong Kong baristas who have achieved notable international success — Zenki Ho (2023 Hong Kong Brewers Cup 1st), Edmond Keung (2019 Canadian Brewers Cup 2nd), and Charity Cheung (2022, 2024 French Brewers Cup 1st) — will also appear.

Award‑winning baristas will gather at this year’s event.

Meanwhile, three rising talents dubbed the “Coffee New Generation (Gen C)” — Bavis Kwong (2025 Hong Kong Brewers Cup 1st), Penny Pang (2023 Hong Kong Barista Championship 1st), and Ricky Chan (2025 Hong Kong Coffee in Good Spirits Championship 1st) — will use the same coffee bean to showcase distinct flavors through three different approaches: hand-brewing, coffee mixology and espresso. Even more engaging, audience members will be invited to act as judges, evaluating the three contenders under the guidance of world-class certified adjudicators.

Seven local champion baristas, including Sofie Chan (2025 World & Hong Kong Siphonist Championship 1st), Chloe Lai (2023 Hong Kong Coffee in Good Spirits Championship 1st), Keith Tse (Hong Kong Latte Art Championship 1st), and Timmy Lam (2019 Hong Kong Coffee in Good Spirits Championship 1st), will demonstrate their craft as well. They represent the high standards of Hong Kong’s coffee scene and act as bridges between coffee culture and everyday life, sharing the warmth and nuance of the craft through close interaction with attendees.

Specially curated crossover projects will highlight coffee’s versatility.

Ten specially curated crossover projects will highlight coffee’s versatility, pairing it with spirits, beverage and bakery brands. These collaborations not only showcase coffee’s inclusivity but also underline how Hong Kong’s coffee culture is rooted in tradition while embracing innovation.

Since 2018, PMQ Coffee Agenda has championed local creativity and worked to raise the profile of baristas. Through its annual festival and professional competitions, it has sparked numerous collaborations and helped specialty coffee culture flourish.
