The 2025 Consumer Electronics Innovation Congress (CEIC) is set to take place in Hall 2 of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Futian District from Nov. 6 to 8.

The event will bring together nearly 300 technology companies from 20 countries and regions, giving attendees a up-close preview of futuristic life, Yang Tao, deputy director of the CEIC organizing committee, said at a news conference yesterday.Officials and members of the CEIC organizing committee announce the plan for the 2025 CEIC in a press conference yesterday. The conference will highlight a range of smart products powered by globally leading technologies such as HarmonyOS, NearLink, and Audio & HDR Vivid. Over 2,000 cutting-edge tech products will be on display — from root technologies to innovative products and immersive experiences.

This year’s 15,000-square-meter exhibition will focus on five key innovation areas — smart terminals, smart vehicles, smart homes, digital health, and new technology chips. Both domestic and international tech leaders, including China Media Group, China Mobile, Huawei, BYD, Honor, NIO, XPENG, and HiSilicon, will showcase the latest achievements and trends in consumer electronics.

The conference will feature three main forums and 16 sub-forums, delving into end-to-end innovation — from fundamental R&D to industrial applications.

More than 300 entrepreneurs, scientists, and industry leaders from enterprises, academia, and research institutions will gather for over 50 thematic sessions, sharing insights on AI-driven trends in consumer electronics, in-depth interpretations of cross-scenario connectivity standards, and practical experiences from innovative enterprises.

The conference is hosted by the Hetao International Organization Headquarters (HIOH) Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park and organized by the International Economic and Technological Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Liu Yong, deputy director of the Electronic Information Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, noted that in 2024, the added value of Shenzhen’s smart terminal industry cluster exceeded 200 billion yuan (US$28 billion), with smartphone production accounting for over one-fifth of the national total.

The city’s product innovation is remarkable — 31 Shenzhen-made products were included in TIME magazine’s list of the Best Inventions of 2025, representing over 70% of the Chinese products on the list. These products include 3D printing equipment, batteries, cameras, mobile phones, earphones, and AR glasses.
