Uzbek official praises China's role in using AI for green development

At the opening ceremony of the 2025 Shenzhen low-carbon urban forum Oct. 28, Javohir Jurayev, Energy Advisor to the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, participated in a high-level discussion, titled "The Collaborative Path for Green Transition in the Asia-Pacific Region: From Policy Innovation to Technological Implementation."

He praised China's accomplishments in applying artificial intelligence to advance green development. “China has shown that artificial intelligence is not just about automation; it's about efficiency and precision,” Jurayev told Shenzhen Daily. He also emphasized that China’s model demonstrates the importance of combining digital technologies with industrial localization, noting that the use of AI also boosts investor confidence.
Jurayev spoke highly of the forum, adding that he would be happy to participate again, as the issues of global warming and climate change are more pressing than ever. He stated, “Uzbekistan aims to implement renewable energy projects by 2030, and we are ready to cooperate with Chinese partners.”
