Bao'an ranks second in new business registrations

Bao'an ranked second in Shenzhen for new registrations of both business entities and individual businesses, according to Bao’an Daily.

From January to August this year, Shenzhen recorded a total of 344,662 newly registered market entities, comprising 228,951 enterprises and 115,711 individual businesses. Among these, Bao’an District registered 41,274 new business entities and 29,556 individual businesses, securing the second-highest number in both categories citywide.

Industry distribution data reveal a dominant concentration in the tertiary sector. Among newly established enterprises, 93.9% were in service-oriented industries. The trend was even more pronounced for individual businesses, with 98.6% belonging to the tertiary sector.
