The Guangdong (Shenzhen) Game Go-Global Service Center will leverage Qianhai’s strategic location and policy advantages while utilizing the Shenzhen International Business e-Station platform to provide comprehensive support to game companies — including overseas market research, legal advice, and operations and publishing services — to help them overcome challenges in expanding abroad.
The Shenzhen Micro-Drama Go-Global Service Platform will be headquartered in venues such as the Qianhai Digital Cultural and Creative Park, focusing on industry issues such as foreign talent recruitment and overseas distribution, and promoting high-quality micro-dramas on the international stage.
To strengthen their service capabilities, the Game Go-Global Service Center signed letters of intent at the event with Amazon’s Greater Bay Area Cloud Technology Industry Digital Empowerment Center and Sincere Qianhai Law Firm. The partners will cooperate on overseas resource matching, market expansion, and legal and compliance support to help game companies grow steadily and meet regulatory requirements as they expand globally.

Huang Xiang, co-founder and CTO of GALA Sports, noted that the company listed shares on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2023.
“With sports games being a global genre, our overseas users have already outnumbered our domestic ones. The new game go-global service platform bridges companies and authorities, helps build an industry cluster ecosystem, and enables firms to better understand overseas policies and expand internationally with fewer obstacles,” he said.
Yan Xiaoyu, vice president of DataEye, said: “According to our research, Shenzhen ranks among the country’s leaders in both the overall strength of its micro-drama sector and its ability to go global. The domestic micro-drama market is expected to exceed 70 billion yuan (about US$9.8 billion) this year, with the overseas market reaching roughly 30 billion yuan. The new platform will help bring in foreign personnel for productions and address specific obstacles to overseas expansion.”
This year has been a milestone year for Qianhai’s cultural development, with a steady stream of new projects and initiatives. Landmarks such as Qianhai Snow World, Shenzhen Book City Bay Area Store, Happy Theater, and K11 ECOAST have been completed and opened. Projects including the Minghua ship at Sea World and the Guiwan section of Qianhai Stone Park have been revitalized. From January to October this year, revenue for Qianhai’s culture, sports and entertainment businesses above the designated size rose by 26% year on year.
