Yantian has officially opened its low-altitude integrated flight command center and industry service center, marking a move toward a more standardized and systematic phase in the district’s low-altitude economy.
The new center will combine command-and-dispatch functions with industry services to provide operational oversight and commercial support for low-altitude aviation activities.
At the ceremony, 10 companies signed agreements to become the first tenants of the industry service center, and that was followed by the signing of letters of intent with firms engaged in the ground-effect aircraft industrial chain.
Academics and experts from leading institutions, including Tsinghua University, Nankai University, Tianjin University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, attended the ceremony.
The center will also serve as an industry-university-research service base for multiple universities, promoting a “companies pose the problems, universities provide the solutions” model to align enterprise needs with academic expertise.
