Shenzhen’s expat service centers are staffed with foreign-language-speaking personnel to help foreign residents integrate into local life. These centers also host regular activities to meet expats’ various needs.

深圳的外籍人士服务中心配备涉外服务人员，旨在帮助外籍居民融入本地生活。这些服务中心还定期开展各类活动，以满足外籍人士的多元需求。 

Marina, a Russian living in Shekou, visits the Shekou Management and Service Center for Expats (Shekou MSCE) and, accompanied by Zhang Ruhan from the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, learns about the center’s services.

Through its Shekou Legal Service Center for Expats, Shekou MSCE has pooled resources to provide multilingual consultation services. It also regularly organizes events such as "Legal Seminar for Expats" and "Traditional Chinese Festival Experience Camps." So far, Shekou MSCE has assisted more than 80,000 foreign residents with living, employment, education, and other needs.

中心通过下设的蛇口涉外公共法律服务中心，整合多方资源设立多语种专业咨询窗口，举办“外籍人士法律讲堂”“中国传统节日体验营”等常态化八大品牌服务项目，累计为超8万人次外籍居民提供了生活、就业、教育等全流程帮助。

Pooling resources for overseas expansion 助力企业出海 资源连接全球

At the Nanshan “Go Global” Global Service Center, Yan Yuting of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government outlines the center’s features, highlighting its strength in supporting the establishment of foreign-funded firms.

在全球服务中心Go Global，深圳市人民政府外事办公室工作人员鄢雨亭介绍该中心，尤其是其在服务外企落地方面的支持。

The center is an international service platform established by the Nanshan District Government. Operating under a model of "government guidance, enterprise collaboration, and platform support," the center aims to be a launchpad for Chinese companies going abroad and a primary gateway for foreign firms entering China.

全球服务中心 Go Global 是南山区打造的综合性国际服务平台，采用“政府引导、企业联动、平台服务”的模式，致力于成为中国企业出海的国际总部基地和外国企业来华的第一窗口。

Since its launch, the center has continuously refined services in business, legal affairs, taxation, finance, and administration. It has integrated resources from more than 200 professional institutions, covering key aspects of enterprise internationalization. So far, it has served more than 180 firms, hosted more than 70 specialized events, and provided end-to-end support in market insights, compliance risk management, cross-border finance, and operational localization.

自启用以来，中心持续完善“商务、法务、税务、财务、事务”五务体系，整合超 200 家专业机构资源，覆盖企业国际化发展的核心环节，累计服务企业超 180 家，举办 70 余场专项活动，为企业提供市场洞察、合规风险、跨境金融与落地运营的全流程支持。

Social security makes life easier 来深就业 丝滑参保

Starting work in Shenzhen and unsure how to enroll in social security? Don’t worry — the process is extremely simple! According to Qiu Yan, a staff member of the Social Insurance Fund Management Administration of Shenzhen Municipality, with a foreign work permit or a permanent residence card, expats can access social security benefits on the same terms as local residents. The key steps — obtaining the work permit, securing the residence permit, and registering for social security — can often be completed in a single visit. 

第一次来深就业不知如何参保？别急！流程非常简单。深圳市社会保险基金管理局工作人员邱妍介绍，只要持有外国人工作许可证或永久居留卡，外籍居民就可以享受和中国籍公民同样的社会保障福利。工作许可证、居住证和社保登记等事项，都可“一窗通办”迅速完成。

Applications can be made online or offline. Applicants can use the iShenzhen app or the “深圳社保” WeChat official account, or visit one of the 28 social security service centers, 4,700 self-service terminals, or 82 partner service points across Shenzhen. More than 50 social security services are available through both online and offline channels.

China has signed bilateral social security agreements with 13 countries, allowing eligible employees to avoid double social security contributions and thereby reducing their overall burden.
