The 2024 Gang Long Dance Championships (GLDC) Grand Final, alongside the 12th Shenzhen Ballroom (Sport Dance) Championship, is being held from Dec. 7 to 14 at the Luohu Gymnasium. The event has brought together over 6,000 elite dancers from nearly 30 provinces and regions across China to compete for annual championship titles in various categories.

It is now home to over 4 million registered volunteers, representing more than 22% of its permanent population. In honor of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Longhua Sports and Cultural Center hosted a vibrant and inspiring wheelchair triathlon challenge Dec. 3. More than 100 athletes with disabilities, representing 40 teams from across the country, competed in three exciting events: the Wheelchair Relay Race, the Paralympic Challenge, and the Wheelchair Obstacle Course.

Shenzhen's streets came alive yesterday as 20,000 runners from over 30 countries and regions hit the pavement at 7:30 a.m for the 2024 Shenzhen Marathon, celebrating endurance, community, and the thrill of the race. The marathon began at the Civic Center in Futian District and ended at Binhai Plaza in Bao’an District.
