Prices of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in Shenzhen have dropped this year, the country's top economic planner said today.

In an interview with Shenzhen Daily in March, Taylor Ogan, CEO of U.S. hedge fund Snow Bull Capital, said that Shenzhen’s rapid technological development was the main reason he decided to move his company from Boston to the southern China booming city in January 2023.

A 15% corporate income tax rate, which previously applicable only to qualified enterprises in Qianhai, now applies to companies in the sprawling 120.56-square-kilometer Greater Qianhai area, according to a notice issued by the city’s finance and taxation authorities last week.
