President of the Republic of Suriname Chandrikapersad Santokhi is on a state visit to China from April 11 to 17. Santokhi is the first head of state from the Latin America and Caribbean region to visit China this year, and this is also his first visit to China since assuming the presidency of Suriname.

On April 16, Jens Eskelund, president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, visited Shenzhen with representatives of some European companies for exchanges with Shenzhen enterprises. He said that Shenzhen, a forefront city in innovation, has significant future potential for cooperation with European companies.

It was formed in 2021 by two Yale University graduates namely Zhang Qiudi, better known as Didi, and Pu Xiaobo.
