Aug. 8 marks China's 15th National Fitness Day. Shenzhen has designated August as health month to raise awareness about improving physical fitness and sustaining a healthy lifestyle. This year’s health month features some 300 activities, according to the city’s health authority. In Shenzhen, with 42 sports-themed parks, 58 arenas and stadiums, 1,216 soccer courts, over 1,450-kilometer-long hiking routes and 30,411 sports fields, a comprehensive network of sports facilities has been built.
