Peljesac Bridge fulfills wishes of Croatian civil engineer's late father
Selma Knudsen, a Croatian civil engineer, said she feels proud to be a member of the Peljesac Bridge construction team. The bridge, a project of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), was opened for traffic on July 26 last year. The bridge, she said, fulfills her late father's wishes to build a bridge over the Mali Ston Bay connecting Komarna on the Croatian mainland with Brijesta on the Peljesac Peninsula.
