The Lord Provost of Edinburgh Robert Aldridge led a delegation to visit Shenzhen from May 20 to 24. During the visit, the delegation participated in the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), toured various locations including F518 Idea Land, Doctorate Association, the "Great Tides Surge Along the Pearl River: 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up in Guangdong" exhibition, and Shenzhen Art School, and visited several high-tech enterprises.

At the Scotland pavilion of the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) in Hall 10 of the Shenzhen World Convention & Exhibition Center in Bao’an District, Liz McAreavey, chief executive of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, introduced the participating Scottish companies and expressed her desire to further deepen the friendship and collaboration between Shenzhen and Edinburgh.

At the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), dancers performed Inner Mongolian ethnic dances at the booth of Ordos, Inner Mongolia.

The 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) kicked off on May 23 this year and will run through May 27. The fair’s main venue is located at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, with an additional 52 subvenues set up across the city. Besides domestic exhibitors, this year’s ICIF has seen both online and offline participation from 302 overseas exhibitors representing 60 countries and regions. It has also invited over 30,000 overseas professional visitors from 108 countries and regions to participate online and offline. Hall 10, as an exhibition hall focusing on international cultural trade, sees many foreign exhibitors showcasing their cultural products and seeking potential cooperation opportunities on the opening day of the 20th ICIF.
