Snow Dragon 2 icebreaker in town

A cheering crowd attended a welcome ceremony for the arrival of China’s self-developed icebreaking research vessel Snow Dragon 2, or Xuelong 2, at Shekou Cruise Homeport in Shenzhen yesterday. The vessel will be open to the public today and tomorrow morning before leaving for China’s 36th science research expedition in Antarctica in the afternoon.
