An integrated warehousing that combines air transportation, bonded warehousing, customs handling and trucking services was launched recently at Shenzhen Qianhai Comprehensive Bonded Zone, providing an alternative for clients who seek for quality and convenient logistics service.
The “City cargo terminal,” which is initiated by China Southern Airlines and cooperated with MBE International, was set at the bonded zone’s Qianhai Multi-Country Consolidation (MCC) Center.

According to the operators, the “City cargo terminal” will activate both the storage and service functions, offering port services at the comprehensive bonded zone. With the support from government departments such as inspection, customs and security, the service integrates transportation, warehousing, sorting, distribution and information collection, and forms a complete service supply chain with low cost and high efficiency, which also allows clients to order customized air logistics service.
It aims to help further expand the function of Shenzhen’s airport and facilitate the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Located in the Mawan area, the bonded zone is an upgrade of the Qianhaiwan Free Trade Port Area with a total floor space of 1.0634 million square meters. Construction of the former Qianhaiwan Free Trade Port Area started in October 2008 and was expanded to cover an area of 2.9 square kilometers in 2016, six years after it was put into operation.
The “MCC Qianhai service” has been introduced to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency.
