Step of spring does not slow down

When the whole city had slowed down and citizens had been stayed indoor for the past seven days in a bid to curb the recent resurgence of COVID-19 in Shenzhen, the step of Spring, marked on the Spring Equinox or chunfen in Chinese yesterday, didn't slow down. On the day, the daytime and nighttime were of equal length. After Spring Equinox, also known as Vernal Equinox, the days get longer, the weather warms up and crops grow fast. This day also marks the exact middle of spring and the beginning of busy farming season in China, with agricultural activities in full swing across the country, from the north to the south.
