China Design Exhibition and Public Art Thematic Exhibition is sponsored by Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, People's Government of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government. It is the only important exhibition in the field of national design sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in China, lead and promote the innovation and development of China designs, gather and demonstrate the latest achievements of modern social development, and promote the sustainable development of design and creative industry in China. As an important cultural national branding, the exhibition has become a level of quality in design and public art, a level of achievement in national cultural and creative design. This triennial exhibition has already held in 2012, 2015 and 2019. The forth exhibition was displayed at Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning and Shenzhen Gushanyue Art Museum in March 2023.
