UBTECH's humanoid robot undergoes 'training' at EV factory

WalkerS, a humanoid robot developed for industrial applications by Shenzhen-based UBTECH Robotics, is now undergoing “training” at a factory of electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Nio. Marking the start of the phased implementation of humanoid robots in manufacturing scenarios, the training regimen involves tasks such as adaptive walking for start-stop on the production line, robust mileage calculation, autonomous operation using perception and system data, and task scheduling.
