Dapeng to add 1,598 roadside parking spaces

Shenzhen plans to address the demand for short-term parking by adding almost 16,000 roadside parking spots, with 1,598 designated for Dapeng New District, sznews.com reported.

The city's parking plan will allocate 15,904 spaces across various districts, including Futian, Nanshan, Luohu, Yantian, Bao'an, Longgang, Longhua, Guangming, Pingshan, and Dapeng.

Specifically, Dapeng New District will introduce 1,598 additional roadside parking spaces along 10 roads in Kuichong and Dapeng subdistricts. These new spaces will cater to residential, commercial, and industrial areas, as well as parks and schools, in an effort to ease parking limitations.
