Xiaomeisha Seaside Park and MGM resort are expected to be opened to the public in May this year, while the whole Xiaomeisha project is set to be completed in 2025, according to a recent report.

The comprehensive renovation project in the Xiaomeisha area covers a planned area of 3.9 square kilometers and encompasses various components, including urban renewal zones, a seaside park, a suburban park, a transportation hub, and a new sea world aquarium.

Xiaomeisha Seaside Park retains the characteristics of the Jurassic-era coastline, providing a rich experience of seaside leisure and beach activities. It will host diverse experiences such as world-class maritime events, entertainment, bathing, beach music festivals, seaside weddings, and more, shaping a year-round, all-weather seaside vacation destination.

Shenzhen MGM resort neighbors Yanmei Road to the north, and has direct access to the beach to the south. To the east, the resort is connected through a bridge to Xiaomeisha Sea World, and is adjacent to Xiaomeisha Seaside Park to the west.

The new Xiaomeisha Sea World will boast five major exhibition areas and four grand stages, complemented by the world’s largest blue hole landscape. Within a technologically immersive environment of sound, light, and electronics, visitors can engage in interactive experiences with hundreds of precious marine species. In the future, it will provide opportunities for marine education, family-oriented learning, and technological performances.

With Line 8's Phase II now in operation, visitors can easily reach Xiaomeisha by taking the Metro to Xiaomeisha Station.
