'Alphonse Mucha and Modern World' exhibition

One of a wide array of events held to commemorate 60 years of Sino-French diplomatic relations, this exhibition showcases the works of Alphonse Mucha, a luminary of the Art Nouveau Movement. Explore over 220 engravings, paintings, and sketches arranged chronologically in six chapters, and delve into Mucha's artistic journey in France, the U.S., and the Czech Republic. Some sculptures, handicrafts and furniture pieces of the 19th century are also on display.

Feinaki Spring Animation Season

The Feinaki Spring Animation Season features events such as screenings, workshops, and fairs. A total of 36 award-winning animations from 20 countries will be screened; and in a special VR exhibition, visitors can admire six VR animations, including My Inner Ear Quartet, Dear Viruses, Tops of Memory, and others.

Miscanthus Festival in Shekou 

Celebrate creativity at the Miscanthus Festival in Shekou, where dozens of artists and craftsmen converge for a vibrant showcase through diverse fairs, exhibitions, and performances. From traditional Chinese operas to sword play performances, the festival offers a medley of cultural treats. Enthusiasts can also partake in activities like cycling, skateboarding, and interacting with art installations.

Pop Opera 'My Beloved'

A story about a talented and affectionate painter who creates an amazing painting but keeps it a secret to everyone including his mum, lover and servant, the pop opera ”My Beloved” will offer the audience a brand-new opera experience, as it innovately combines Cantonese dialogues with Italian bel canto. The 22 Italian bel canto songs appeared in it are all from Giacomo Puccini's 10 operas.

Dance show 'Awakening Lion'

“Awakening Lion,” a dance show by the Guangzhou Song and Dance Theater, is ready to meet the local audience. Set against the backdrop of the First Opium War, the show tells the story of two brave lion dance performers.

COLOMBO V-Space exhibition

Italian cashmere brand COLOMBO is holding an exhibition at the MixC, which combines technology with fashion. Visitors will find a capsule model, in the middle of which sits a sheep astronaut, plus some other astronauts around. In addition to the astro setting, COLOMBO also displays its flagship cashmere and cashmere products.
