An array of innovative products featuring cutting-edge SparkLink technology were on display at the International SparkLink Alliance Summit held at the Shenzhen Civic Center on Saturday. Over 500 industry experts, government officials, alliance representatives, and insiders participated in the summit and explored the exhibition.
The summit featured an impressive showcase of over 150 exhibits by 49 members of International SparkLink Wireless Short-Range Communication Alliance (SparkLink Alliance), including chips, terminals, vehicle-integrated products, office accessories and furniture.
Among the highlights was a wireless mouse offering high-precision and ultra-low latency suitable for online gaming, presented by a member of SparkLink Alliance, a prominent industrial consortium specializing in wireless short-range communication technologies.
“Powered by NearLink technology, the wireless mouse could meet the demands of gamers seeking a seamless gaming experience,” Li Chang, senior director of Wuhan Ipason Technology Co. Ltd., said when introducing their products.
NearLink, also known as SparkLink, is a short-range wireless technology standard developed by the SparkLink Alliance, led by Huawei. This technology surpasses Bluetooth in speed, efficiency, range, and latency.
Visitors were also captivated by a bus equipped with a 360-degree panoramic view system from Eagle Drive, offering high-definition and real-time views of the surroundings. Zheng Zhiyu, the general manager of Eagle Drive, said that this technology helps enhance driver safety by providing comprehensive, detailed views of the road and eliminating blind spots.
Wu Hequan, director of the SparkLink Alliance's expert commission, said the evolution of SparkLink technology over five years, culminating in the launch of SparkLink standard 2.0 during the summit. This latest standard will further help fortify communication infrastructure and foster advancements in human-machine interaction, positioning technologies, and other applications.
The alliance, initiated in 2020, was authorized as an international social organization entity by the China Civil Affair Ministry in June 2023. The SparkLink Alliance, located at the Shenzhen Park of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Center, boasts 303 members, including 65 domestic and 13 international entities.
