Joint school of medicine to enroll 60 students

For the first time, the SUSTech-King’s School of Medicine, a collaboration program between the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) and King’s College London, will admit a total of 60 students from seven provinces this September.

The students, in biomedical science and biomedical engineering, will be awarded degrees from both universities, and one-third of the courses will be provided by King’s College London.

The students will also have opportunities to further their studies at King’s College London.

According to Tan Jianwei, director of the SUSTech Admission Office, the university will enroll 1,350 students from 24 provinces and municipalities across the country, including 320 students from Guangdong.
