Shenzhen, China's tech powerhouse, unveiled a new city promotional video, titled “Dare to Be a Pioneer,” during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Shenzhen Design Week on Saturday. The video, which quickly garnered positive buzz online, tells the story of a man overcoming challenges in pursuit of his dreams — a narrative mirroring Shenzhen's remarkable development over the past 40 years.
Initiated by the Publicity Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC, the video has resonated with viewers on Shenzhen Daily’s social media platforms, including YouTube, X, and Facebook.
On YouTube, comments lauded the video's inspirational message. “Brilliant Shenzhen,” wrote @user-op9fs6wq3k. User @haolanwang129 echoed the sentiment, stating, “Enjoy watching the video in full! So inspirational.”
The video's futuristic visuals resonated with viewers on YouTube. Comments like, “so futuristic” and “Creating a wholly new vision for a high tech city.
