Shenzhen and San Francisco signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on establishing friendly exchange relations at San Francisco City Hall on May 28. The ceremony featured speeches by Zhang Jianmin, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in San Francisco, Yang Wanming, President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), London Nicole Breed, Mayor of San Francisco, and Tao Yongxin, Executive Vice Mayor of Shenzhen. Also in attendance were Carmen Chu, City Administrator of San Francisco, along with representatives from city administration, business sectors, and the overseas Chinese community.
