The Shenzhen Kingfan Hong Kong Children School, inaugurated last month, garnered much attention from parents with its school open day event held June 15.

This event allowed parents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the campus environment and the school's educational principles.

Located at No.10 Dafu Road in Longhua District, the school covers an area of 14,514 square meters, with a building area of approximately 12,287 square meters.

Founded by the Kingfan Education team, renowned for introducing the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) curriculum to the Chinese mainland, this institution is the only full-time Hong Kong-style secondary school on the mainland that focuses on teaching the HKDSE curriculum to students from Grade 7 to Grade 12.

Embracing a "Holistic Education" approach, the school champions small-class teaching, promoting the "bilingual and trilingual" education framework. The school is dedicated to creating a high-quality international education platform by blending Shenzhen-Hong Kong education standards with a global perspective.

At the open day event, the school's three unique teaching approaches, namely task-based teaching, tiered teaching, and collaborative teaching, received high praise from parents. The school's considerate management and modern teaching facilities were also highly appreciated, as they were seen as valuable benefits for families living and working in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

In addition to academic pursuits, the school places great importance on the overall development of its students by providing various sports facilities, including a golf practice area, indoor badminton and basketball courts, and soccer fields.

By promoting active engagement in sports, the school strives to cultivate teamwork and physical wellness among its students. Moreover, a wide range of artistic and cultural activities further enriches the educational experience, encompassing theatrical performances and musical showcases, which offer students opportunities to showcase their diverse talents in creative environments.
