French Week in supermarket
The French Week event, consisting of a series of activities organized as part of Taste France, is being held at Olé supermarkets in Shenzhen through July 28. A selection of food products from renowned French brands such as Brocéliande, Le Maître Charcutier, Président, Aoste, Evian, and SAPMER are offering special promotions at the supermarkets.

Trinity Boys Choir concert
Experience the vibrant voices of the Trinity Boys Choir this Friday night! In the first half of the concert, these talented young performers will don opera costumes to present classic excerpts from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Mozart’s “The Magic Flute.” The second half will take the audience on a journey through the music halls of British pop and rock, featuring fresh renditions of hits by Queen, The Beatles, Coldplay, and pop diva Adele.

Brazilian style & amusing piano quintet
The Shenzhen Concert Hall will host two joyous concerts this weekend. On Friday evening, Douglas Borsatti and Bruno Padilha will blend accordion and guitar in a lively waltz, infusing Brazilian style to sweep away the week’s fatigue. On Sunday evening, Hou Letian, a pioneer in comedic music, will invigorate the audience with a unique quintet that combines piano, a talk show, and melodrama, setting the tone for a new week.

'Accidentally Wes Anderson'
Wes Anderson is the writer and director of the Oscar Award-winning movie “The Grand Budapest.” His rigorous symmetrical composition and brilliant color style impress audiences with a strong visual impact. "Accidentally Wes Anderson" is an online travel photography community with over 1.5 million members around the globe. In this exhibition, nearly 300 photographs in Anderson’s style taken by the community's members and recognized by Anderson create a space full of dopamine in Shenzhen.

Ceramic treasures from Liao, Song, Xia, Jin
A new permanent exhibition at Shenzhen Museum, titled “Treasures From the Kiln: Porcelain Art of the Liao, Song, Xia, and Jin Dynasties,” is showcasing 263 ceramic and porcelain pieces or sets from these dynasties.

Feng Tang’s exhibition
“I’m a Cat,” a Chinese painting and calligraphy exhibition presented by Feng Tang, a renowned Chinese contemporary novelist, poet, artist and expert in corporate strategic management, leads visitors into the world of a cat and encourage viewers to take a pause from day-to-day life and to see the world through the eyes of cats.

Print works
The “Beautiful Encounter — Contemporary Prints Invitational Exhibition of China & Hungary” exhibition, running through July 31, features works from the collection of the Chinese Printmaking Museum as well as donations by the Budapest Printmakers Association. The exhibition showcases around 140 prints, including over 70 works by Hungarian artists and 58 by Chinese artists.
