Railway station sees passenger surge

Amid the summer travel peak, over 23 million passengers passed through Shenzhen’s railway stations from July 1 to Aug. 11, with a record high of 738,000 passengers in a single day. Shenzhen North Railway Station alone saw 16.41 million arrivals and departures, an increase of 230,000 passengers from last year.
