The “CAFEEX: The Story of Café” Shenzhen Coffee and Beverage Expo promises an exciting showcase of all things coffee. Over three days, the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center will buzz with champion baristas from around the world, celebrated coffee shops, top roasting brands, and leading equipment suppliers.

‘Skylight’

‘Song of Everlasting Sorrow’
“Song of Everlasting Sorrow,” inspired by Bai Juyi’s timeless poem, transports audiences back 1,300 years to the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. The play explores the tragic romance between Emperor Xuanzong and his beloved Yang Yuhuan, set against the dramatic backdrop of the An Lushan Rebellion and the empire's shifting fortunes.

Fairy tales on ice
The Imperial Ice Stars, an acclaimed troupe for theater on ice, will bring to the theater “Cinderella on Ice” and “Peter Pan on Ice,” two shows on ice based on two classic fairy tales. With dazzling stage art, innovative storytelling and breathtaking ice skating by former award-winning skaters, these performances on a frozen theater stage are sure to bring a fresh experience to Shenzhen audiences.

‘Thumbelina’
The Yerevan State Puppet Theater from Armenia will enchant the audience with a shadow play adaptation of Andersen’s classic fairy tale, “Thumbelina.” Incorporating multimedia technologies, the show offers a dreamlike journey in which the audience can revel in exquisite shadow artistry, elegant dances and dazzling lighting, ensuring a visually stunning experience.

Pearl-themed pop-up space
The French luxury jewelry and watch brand Van Cleef & Arpels has teamed up with designer and artist Arthur Hoffner this summer to create a dynamic and colorful pop-up space for the brand’s Perlée jewelry collection. Perlée is the French word for “pearls.”
