Pipe organ workshop

The Orgelkids was founded in the Netherlands and introduced to China in 2019. Its workshop offers participants the opportunity to assemble a pipe organ and perform with expert instructors. Leading this immersive organ experience is Chang Xiaoting, the first holder of a doctorate in pipe organ performance from the Royal Academy of Music in the U.K.

‘Tale of Night’

The Poetic Children Theater from Iran will bring “Tale of Night,” a fusion of puppetry and black light theater that transports children to whimsical realms. Centered on a grandfather’s memories and fantasies, this play features his endearing encounters with charming aliens, conversations with fish, and dances with whales, leading the audience into a vibrant adventure.

Traditional tunes

Originating from the Tang Dynasty over a thousand years ago, Chinese bowed string instruments, represented by the erhu and morin khuur, have long captivated audiences with their unique timbres and expressive power. The upcoming "East Meets West" bowed string instruments concert, presented by the Guangdong Chinese Orchestra, will feature iconic pieces such as "The Moon Over a Fountain" to showcase the depth and beauty of these traditional instruments.

Playtoy Orchestra

Hailing from Italy, the Playtoy Orchestra enchants audiences with a unique musical experience using toy instruments. From specially designed toy instruments to whimsical sound-producing toys, the band’s playful and humorous demeanor, coupled with a diverse array of plastic and hard-paper drums, toy-pianos, accordions, and xylophones, creates an original and engaging musical genre that appeals to all ages.

Guqin charm

Guqin, with thousands of years of history, is one of the most representative traditional Chinese musical instruments. Now at the Sky Museum, visitors can admire several guqins dating back the Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties and replicas of some guqins in the Palace Museum's collection. Visitors also have a chance to learn about the craftsmanship of guqin making.

Bookplate exhibition

This exhibition displays bookplates with Chinese culture elements from the collection of Shenzhen Art Museum. The more than 100 bookplates on display showcase oriental charm from different aspects.

Photography exhibition

Following the success of the 2023 “Li Xiaoliang: 1/3 Solo Exhibition,” photographer Li Xiaoliang, better known as Alexvi, is presenting a new exhibition titled “At That Time, This Moment” at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center.

VR immersive exhibition

The "Wonderful Red Cube - Exploratory VR Immersive and Interactive Science Popularization Experience Exhibition" features immersive VR theaters around such themes as "Wonderful Journey through The Classic of Mountains and Rivers" and "Super Wings: Adrift in Europe." The exhibition includes a spacious theater area and an interactive photo-taking space.
