More than 100 bookplates featuring diverse Chinese cultural elements, from the collection of the Shenzhen Art Museum, are on display at the art museum’s Longhua division.

These works were collected from the Seventh National Bookplate Exhibition hosted by the Shenzhen Art Museum in 1998. The bookplates showcase Oriental charm through a variety of subjects such as flowers, birds, insects, fish, architectural landscapes, stone inscriptions, New Year pictures, paper cutting, and legends.

Each bookplate tells the stories of designers, bibliophiles, and collectors, embodying high artistic creativity and aesthetics. With its unique cultural charm, bookplates are destined to be preserved for eternity.

Despite its small size, a bookplate encapsulates the essence of books and art, capturing human emotions. Dates: Through March 16, 2025
