Nanshan residents enjoy fun-filled board game night

More than 50 Chinese and expatriates gathered at the Nanshan International  Cultural Exchange & Service Center (NSIC) on Aug. 30 for a fun evening of board games.

The NSIC provided a variety of board games for participants to choose from, including strategy games, card games, and more. The event lasted for  two hours, giving participants plenty of time to immerse themselves in  the games and meet new people.

Many participants commented on how much they enjoyed the event. One said she loved playing board games and had met some new friends at the event.

Another participant, an expatriate teacher living in Nanshan, said he often attends board game events and enjoys them as a way to socialize with other teachers. His favorite game is Skyjo, a number game that he enjoys for its combination of luck and strategy.

An expatriate, who attended the event for the first time, said she would recommend it to others and praised the NSIC for offering a variety of events. She had previously attended a Chinese course at the center.

The NSIC has hosted a variety of events for the local community, including language classes, cultural activities, and social gatherings. The board game evening was a successful event that brought together people from different backgrounds and provided a fun and enjoyable experience for all.
