Free lecture for expats on visa regulations

The Foreign Affairs Bureau of Guangming District will host a free educational lecture on visa regulations for expatriates. The event, scheduled for Oct. 29, will take place at the Weiguang Life Science Park in Guangming District.

Renowned legal expert, Lawyer Chen Guoyan, a senior associate at Guangdong Zhuojian Law Firm's Foreign Legal Business Department, will serve as the keynote speaker. With a wealth of experience in foreign legal matters, Chen specializes in cross-border dispute resolution, international trade conflicts, immigration issues, and acts as a legal advisor for numerous businesses.
The lecture will cover essential topics including Chinese visa types, residence permit, legal compliance for Z visa holders, risks associated with overstay or visa misuse, and guidance on applying for permanent residency in China, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
