Kongsberg Digital — a subsidiary of Norway’s Kongsberg Gruppen that specializes in digital solutions and transformation technologies for the maritime, oil and gas, and renewable energy sectors — showcased its cutting-edge technologies.

“Our main products on display are digital software technologies. These products are recognized globally by industry giants, with several major energy companies currently using them,” Feng Dayu, head of marketing and cooperation for Kongsberg Digital China, told Shenzhen Daily.

“This is our fifth time participating in the expo. I think the expo’s support services have been excellent across the board. I believe the expo provides a great platform for us to showcase our achievements and gain a deeper understanding of trends in the domestic market,” Feng added.

China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), China’s largest offshore oil and gas producer, is displaying its latest achievements in developing green marine energy at the expo.

“Carbon capture, utilization, and storage [CCUS] technology has become a vital tool in the fight against climate change and is considered a crucial foundation for achieving carbon neutrality. In 2023, CNOOC launched China’s first offshore CCUS demonstration project. To date, it has operated safely for over 10,000 hours,” said Zhang Weiwei, general manager of the technology and informatization department of CNOOC Shenzhen.
