ASEAN food culture week to kick off in Qianhai

Get ready for an incredible food and culture adventure! From Nov. 13 to 17, the ASEAN Food & Culture Week will take place at Qianhai Uniway, offering a delicious global journey alongside stunning visual and auditory experiences!

You’ll find 20 amazing food stalls showcasing the authentic flavors of the 10 ASEAN countries and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area — all in one place! In addition, there will be a vibrant cultural feast featuring spectacular performances, including the energetic lion dance, graceful Nyonya dance, and lively band performances from Southeast Asia. Every moment will make you feel as if you are in the passionate nations of Southeast Asia. As one of the sideline events for the 2024 ASEAN-China Greater Bay Area Economic Cooperation (Qianhai) Forum, this event aims to promote cultural exchange and economic integration, building a bridge of friendship between the Greater Bay Area and ASEAN.

Join us for the grand opening Nov. 13 (Wednesday) at 11:55 a.m., where you’ll be treated to mesmerizing Southeast Asian performances. Additionally, Qianhai will be giving away shopping vouchers worth 10 million yuan (US$1.39 million) — great deals you won’t want to miss! Qianhai will also introduce a selection of international-friendly shopping areas and merchants at the event, creating an optimal shopping experience for international friends and enhancing the charm of Qianhai as a global neighborhood.

Every evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., join us for the ASEAN Music Festival. Music knows no borders, so let’s enjoy beautiful melodies while experiencing the blend and resonance of cultures.

A special highlight of the ASEAN Food & Culture Week, “ASEAN Night @ Qianhai,” will take place Nov. 15 (Friday) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Professional dancers and bands will deliver an unforgettable audio-visual feast, perfectly merging food and culture.
