Experts share views on digital city construction at congress

Around 600 scholars, experts, and entrepreneurs from both domestic and international backgrounds in the fields of unmanned aerial vehicles, intelligent transportation, and smart cities gathered at the 2024 Digital City World Congress, which convened yesterday morning at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

According to Dr. Yang Peng, secretary-general of the World Digital City Conference and executive chairman of the Shenzhen Smart City Industry Association, the congress consists of a plenary session, a main forum, multiple parallel forums, and an annual awards ceremony. Through thematic presentations, roundtable discussions, and high-level dialogues, the event aims to explore the most forward-looking perspectives, representative technological trends, and innovative applications in global digital city construction in a multi-dimensional and comprehensive manner. The goal is to enhance the modernization of urban governance systems and capabilities, while addressing people’s aspirations for a better quality of life.
