

Shenzhen's 1st JD Mall to open in Nanshan in 2025

The first JD Mall in Shenzhen has officially inked a deal to establish its presence in the bustling Nanshan District. The signing ceremony and property handover for the much-anticipated project were held Thursday at Haiya Mega Mall, marking a significant milestone for Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com’s expansion in the city.

Covering a business area of nearly 30,000 square meters, the Shenzhen JD Mall is poised to make a grand debut during JD.com’s annual 618 shopping festival in 2025, according to JD.com.
The new mall will join forces with JD flagship stores in Huaqiangbei and Longgang, offering Shenzhen residents a diverse range of shopping experiences right at their doorstep, the retailer said.
The Shenzhen project will introduce over 200 renowned brands, 30 themed experience areas, and more than 200,000 product types. The offerings will span core categories like home appliances, computers and digital products, and home decoration, while also integrating diverse products that cover e-sports, and baby care, and entertainment.

JD Mall is an offline comprehensive commercial complex launched by JD.com, which aims to revolutionize the one-stop shopping experience for home appliances. In 2021, JD.com opened its first JD Mall in Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi Province.
As of November 2024, JD.com has opened 17 JD Malls in provincial capitals and big cities across the country, with new outlets under construction in Beijing, Nanjing, and Chengdu.
