Chinese regulator opens probe into Nvidia

The State Administration for Market Regulation, China's top market regulator, announced yesterday that it has launched an investigation into U.S. tech firm Nvidia for suspected violations of the country's anti-monopoly law, as well as its decision regarding Nvidia's acquisition of Mellanox Technologies.

The investigation was initiated in accordance with the law, the State Administration for Market Regulation stated. (Xinhua)
