Shajing Golden Oyster Festival to hold in Bao'an

Oyster lovers have a good place to go as the Shajing Golden Oyster Festival will officially kick off in Shajing, Bao’an District, tomorrow, lasting through Jan. 1, 2025.

A total of 20 activities will be held to promote the oyster culture in Shajing and oyster delicacies.

The Shajing oyster is a specialty of Shenzhen, renowned both domestically and internationally. Shajing is the first place in the world to farm oysters, a practice that is more than 1,000 years old.
