Ticket prices vary depending on the date of travel and the type of seat or berth (upper or lower).
The first D962 train operated yesterday, reaching a maximum speed of 250 kilometers per hour. The train consists of 16 cars, including two with a total of 110 economy-class seats, and 13 sleeper cars containing 520 beds (each car features 10 rooms, with four beds per room), as well as a dining car.
The first D962 train arrives at Chengdu East Station at 7:44 a.m. yesterday.
Some passengers from Shenzhen said that the overnight sleeper train, which departs in the evening and arrives in the morning, is very convenient since it allows them to reach their destination refreshed and ready to explore.
Both Shenzhen and Chengdu are popular travel destinations, and this sleeper train will enhance connectivity between the two cities.
