To better serve inbound travelers, the Futian Port Inbound Service Center has been officially launched Jan. 21.
Situated at the exit of Gate 2 of Futian Checkpoint, the center has not only introduced banking institutions and telecommunications operators, but is also equipped with an AI intelligent interaction system, a variety of convenient information brochures and promotional videos.
It provides 13 services across six key areas for inbound travelers, covering government-related affairs, financial services, telecommunications, consultation, cultural and tourism promotion, as well as publicity and exhibition.
“In the past, when my friend came to Shenzhen for the first time, I had to take him to several places to open a bank card and get a phone card. Now, all these can be done in one stop right after exiting the port. It’s really convenient,”said Mr. Luo, a Hong Kong tourist who visited the service center. He added that he would highly recommend it to his relatives and friends after returning.
To welcome inbound travelers to Shenzhen for the Spring Festival, Futian District has launched a Cross-border Consumption Service Package and released a series of consumption benefits, which include the launch of the Futian District Cross-border Consumption Service Guide, the release of information about COCO Park, the first "buy-and-refund-on-the-spot" duty-free shopping mall approved in the district, as well as other duty-free stores. Additionally, a free shuttle service connecting Futian Checkpoint and business has been launched.
