The first phase of the greenway around Shenzhen Reservoir has a total length of 6.07 kilometers, consisting of a 0.47-kilometer section connecting both sides of Dawang Bridge and a 5.6-kilometer country trail on the north side of Dawang Village.

It is divided into an elevated greenway and a country trail. One of the highlights of the greenway is its excellent location, nestled against mountains and beside water. It connects the Taojinshan Greenway on one side and the country trail on the north side of Dawang Village on the other. The elevated greenway in the middle, located on the second floor of Dawang Bridge, ingeniously integrates natural landscapes with artificial facilities.

According to the urban management department of Luohu District, the design of this section of the greenway fully considers citizens’needs for sightseeing and cycling, offering a unique recreational experience. The country trail features distinct ecological charm, with stone-step paths, dirt roads, and wooden plank roads. Along the way, visitors can overlook Shenzhen Reservoir and Dawang Village, enjoying breathtaking scenery. It is an excellent route for fresh air and relaxation during weekends and holidays.
