Over 5,000 drone products to be displayed at Drone World Congress in May

More than 500 domestic and international companies will showcase approximately 5,000 of the latest drone products at the 9th Drone World Congress, scheduled to take place in Shenzhen from May 23 to 25. This announcement was made during a press conference held by the congress’ organizing committee in Shenzhen yesterday afternoon.

According to Yang Peng, secretary general of the Drone World Congress, the event is expected to attract over 10,000 industry experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from more than 100 countries and regions. More than 40 parallel forums and over 60 product technology exchange meetings will focus on themes such as drones, low-altitude economies, digital transportation, low-altitude flight services, and artificial intelligence robots. Through thematic presentations, keynote speeches, and roundtable discussions, participants will delve into the development of the low-altitude economy, the intelligent application of unmanned systems, industrial implementation, and future development trends.

To encourage innovation, the organizing committee has established the 2025 9th Global UAV (System) Contribution Award, 2025 UASE Golden Eagle Award, and the Top 50 Low-altitude Economy Industrial Applications for 2025.

Since its inception, the congress has evolved into the world’s largest and most influential drone industry event after eight years of development. It plays a vital role in uniting global industry leaders, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, promoting international collaboration, and fostering innovation, serving as an important international platform for advancing drone technology and low-altitude economic innovation.
