Taizi Bay bus terminus in operation to serve K11

The highly anticipated waterfront art-shopping commercial complex, K11 ECOAST, held its grand opening just before the May Day holiday in Shekou. To meet the growing public demand for transportation to this expansive commercial hub, the Taizi Bay New World Cultural Shopping Arcade, where the K11 is located, has put into service a new bus terminus.

Located at No. 61 Taizi Road in Nanshan District, the Taizi Bay bus terminus currently serves three bus routes connecting to Taoyuan Subdistrict in Nanshan, as well as Longgang and Bao’an Districts.

Bus No. M105 links the K11 ECOAST with the Xiufeng Industrial Park Bus Terminal in Buji Subdistrict, Longgang. The route passes notable locations including Shekou Cruise Homeport, Sea World, and the Binhai-Baishi Flyover in Nanshan District, continuing eastward through Futian District with stops at Shenzhen Bay Park, Futian Sports Park, Lianhua Hill Park, Guan Shanyue Art Museum, and Shenzhen Children’s Library. The bus route then proceeds further east through Luohu District before reaching Buji Subdistrict.

Operating daily between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m., the M105 route implements a tiered fare system ranging from 2 yuan (US$0.27) to 7 yuan.

Another route departing from the Taizi Bay terminal is Bus No. 204 that travels to the Fangdacheng Bus Terminal in Taoyuan Subdistrict, Nanshan, located opposite IKEA.

Operating from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Bus No. 204 heads north, stopping at several locations in the Shekou area including Sea World, before turning east onto Shennan Boulevard. It then passes locations such as Lixiang Park and the north entrance of Shenzhen University, Shenzhen High-Tech Park and Dachong, and concluding its journey at Taoyuan Subdistrict. This route opeates with a flat fare of 2.5 yuan per ride.

The third route serving the Taizi Bay bus terminal is Bus No. M400, which travels north all the way to the Shenzhen airport in Bao’an District.

Operating between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., Bus No. M400 connects with a number of Metro stations including Taizi Bay, Shekou Port, Sea World, Shuiwan, Nanyou West, Lilin and Bao’an Stadium. Along its route, it stops at Shekou Sports Center, Shekou WalMart, Nanshan Market, Nanshan Village, Nanyuan Village, Jia’an Road, Xixiang and Huachuangda High-tech Park. The route also operates with a flat fare of 2.5 yuan per ride.
