Residents can enjoy a variety of Chinese dramas during the Fourth International Theater Life Season at Bay Opera of Shenzhen, running through September. The lineup features performances from children’s plays to acclaimed productions. 

‘Voyager’

A collaboration between Unitree and DeepSeek, this visually stunning robot show features digital space scenes blending reality and virtuality, supported by 3D sound effects and immersive lighting.

‘Fox Spirit Matchmaker’

Adapted from the popular Chinese animation of the same name, this fantasy drama follows a fox spirit from the righteous Tushan Fox Clan on her adventures.

‘The Beauty’

Liu Xiaoqing, now in her 70s, stars as both Sai Jinhua and herself in “The Beauty,” a play connecting two legendary Chinese women. Sai rose to prominence during the political upheavals of late 19th-century China; Liu is an award-winning actress and producer celebrated for her influential career.

‘The Murder in Kairoutei’
