HYROX, a popular global indoor fitness competition that combines multiple workout disciplines across eight rounds, comes to Shenzhen this weekend. Competitor registration has closed, but you can still sign up as a spectator for an immersive, pulse-pounding visual experience.

‘Dream in the Peony Pavilion’
“Dream in the Peony Pavilion,” a dazzling new dance theater production, will meet local audiences this weekend. Tang Xianzu’s celebrated Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) play is reimagined for the contemporary stage with a bold and youthful perspective, blending the expressive language of modern dance and ballet with surreal stage design that incorporates flowing mist and dynamic lighting.

Classical guitar
Pioneering classical guitarist Yang Xuefei will perform a diverse program at Shenzhen Concert Hall, featuring traditional Chinese pieces alongside French, Spanish and Latin American works.
