The online “Shenzhen Trails” section on “Meilin Shenzhen” allows users to browse detailed routes, view real-time trail conditions, locate restrooms, and start navigation from a single page. Find it by opening “Meili Shenzhen” (“美丽深圳”)and tapping “Park Shenzhen” (“公园深圳”)to enter the “Shenzhen Trails” (“深圳远足径”)section.

Step-by-step instructions guide users on how to access “Shenzhen Trails” via the Meili Shenzhen (“美丽深圳”) WeChat account.
The page offers four main features: an Outdoor Covenant (safety and etiquette), Travel Tips (weather, gear, safety), Transport Info (nearby buses, Metro lines and parking), and Service Facilities (restrooms and other amenities).
The guide includes many of the city’s well-known routes, such as Kunpeng Trail, Fenghuang Trail and Cuiwei Trail, as well as loops like the Yangtai Mountain Ring and Maluan Mountain Ring.
An intelligent search bar allows users to filter by region, difficulty and duration, or enter keywords to quickly find a route that suits them. One click opens a detailed page with route descriptions, itinerary suggestions and practical tips. The guide also recommends popular routes and nearby attractions, and displays photos and user-shot videos from fellow hikers.
Map navigation includes three viewing modes: satellite, vector and traffic, enabling users to see mountain-path details clearly. In emergencies, the platform provides a one-touch access to rescue phone numbers and can automatically share the user’s location coordinates to speed up assistance.

The Shenzhen hiking network has expanded rapidly in recent years and drawn an increasing number of residents into outdoor exploration. The 200-kilometre Kunpeng Trail has helped put the city on the map as a distinctive outdoor destination and was named among the country’s top 10 outdoor sport destinations.
Shenzhen has announced plans to build approximately 900 kilometers of hiking and country trails, including more than 30 premium routes.
